Narre Warren is a suburb about 38 kilometres southeast of Melbourne’s CBD. The major features include Westfield Fountain Gate which is the second biggest shopping centre and the Fountain Gate Secondary College makes the biggest secondary school in Australia.
Narre Warren has been growing from a semi-rural residential town to becoming a part of a major growth corridor in the southeast of Melbourne. It is a diverse, vibrant and multicultural suburb with fourth highest number of residents in Victoria from a Refugee or Asylum Seeker background. There are about 30 percent of residents who were born in non-English speaking countries and the most common language other than English is Dari.
