Werribee is filled with natural beauty, historic sites and has a large multicultural community.
The area is home to two of Victoria’s top tourist attractions – the Werribee Open Range Zoo and the historic Werribee Mansion.
Located 32 km south-west from Melbourne's CBD, a metropolitan train line services Werribee, as well as regional trains and numerous bus services.
The area has many outdoor shopping strips provide as well as the Werribee Plaza shopping centre. The Twilight Street Market is also held on the third Friday of every month, which sells crafts, and homegrown and gourmet foods.
The Werribee Plaza library provides many community programs and holds many resources for learning English as a second language.
Residents stay fit and healthy at the Werribee Outdoor Pool or the Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre. The area also a number of parks, including Chirnside Park, which has playgrounds, BBQ and picnic facilities.
