Use your voice to lead and help others be heard in the prevention of violence against women.
We need men and women from diverse communities to lead the social change needed to change this statistic and use diverse, authentic voices to articulate and create change.
What will you learn
Over the course with experienced and engaging facilitators you will share and learn about:
- the causes of violence against women
- the social change needed to prevent violence against women and children
- applying a primary prevention framework to stop violence before it occurs
- using a range of prevention strategies and approaches with CALD communities
No experience is required, just a passion for change and commitment to gender equity.
Previous graduates have become community advocates, extended their careers and gained valuable skills and networks to make the change and make their voice heard.
