Pathway Support Program (PSP)
AMES Australia has developed the short course Pathway Support Program (PSP) in response to people arriving in Victoria with relatively high levels of English language competence and professional skills who are needing pathway support. The program is offered to people who have not received pathway support and information.
The program will aim to ensure that all participants are able to enrol in a program or service that is consistent with the next step of their identified pathway. This will be either through a self-managed process or where necessary with support from the program facilitator - making a "warm" referral for relevant clients.
Each participant will conclude the course with a documented pathway plan and current resume. The facilitator will make time available between sessions to consult with and provide advice to support participants with complex or difficult to define pathways.
